Dear Friends and BHCT Supporters
Firstly, I’d like to say how delighted I am to be the new Chair of FoBHC.
I recently retired from teaching at Aylesbury Grammar School and am embarking on a new challenge training to be a Licenced Lay Minister.
Places of worship are very important to me!
All of us, as FoBHC Members and BHCT Supporters, are keen to look for ways to preserve the wonderful heritage of historic churches in Buckinghamshire.
For this we need enthusiastic supporters to help organise and run events and outings and raise funds via FoBHC.
FoBHC Needs You!!!!

Subscriptions can be paid by standing order or by cheque (standing order preferred).

The minimum rates are:
Annual subscription: £20 for one person or £30 for two people at the same address;
Life membership: £350 for one person or £525 for two people at the same address;
Church or Corporate membership: £30.
But if you can give more, this will be greatly appreciated.
As a membership subscription constitutes a donation, we ask all taxpayers
to complete the gift aid form on the application form to allow us to reclaim tax.
Protect our Heritage – Become a Friend and Support the Trust
If you are keen to protect the fabric of Buckinghamshire’s places of worship why not join the Friends of Buckinghamshire’s Historic Churches?
The Friends aim to raise awareness of the Trust and its work, involve more people in its activities, and raise funds for the Trust.
All money raised, apart from modest administrative expenses, goes to the Trust – in the last two years we gave the Trust more than £11,000, equivalent to three or four grants to places of worship in Buckinghamshire.
By becoming a Friend you will directly support the vital work of the Trust
but you can also…
Church Crawls
Visit some of Buckinghamshire’s Churches and Chapels each year with a specialist guide.
Lectures
Attend an annual lecture – topics have included favourite churches in Bucks, chapels in Bucks, bell ringing, stained glass and brass monuments.
Visits
Visit interesting places not always readily accessible – recently Chenies Chapel, Rycote, the College of Arms, Middle Temple, Freemasons Hall, Lambeth Palace.
Receptions
Receive priority booking for the Trust’s annual reception, usually held in a historic house in Buckinghamshire.
